Professional Bio
Your child is struggling. Let’s find a solution that eases their pain and gives them (and you) tools to move forward. Whether anxiety, self-harm or anger outbursts - all behaviour serves a purpose. By uncovering why your child relies on certain behaviours, we, as a team, can work to reduce their distress and move toward growth. I help children and adolescents learn to cope with life’s difficulties in a way that fosters confidence and builds trust in their own capabilities. My mission is to support and empower children to effectively achieve personal growth, to acknowledge and bear witness to the experiences of their life. Sessions focus on learning coping skills, building resiliency, and exploring experiences and feelings in a safe, judgement-free environment. The use of Play and Expressive Therapy, as well as talk-therapy (for teens), allows your child to move through life’s challenges by promoting self-awareness and distress tolerance. You’re looking for solutions, and I’m here to help. Reach out now to set up a complimentary 20-minute consultation to see how counselling can help your child.
