###Ryan’s FAQ### **What do you specialize in?** I’m a generalist. I specialize in being as adaptable as possible Passionate about attention & sensory issues, communication & conflict resolution, parenting (co/solo/step), self-esteem, growth, empowerment & boundaries, depression, late diagnosis adults and identity, supporting adolescent and young adults, adults making sense of how life has formed them, stress management and self-care purpose and belonging. (I'm sure there's lots more) I have a great deal of life experience, and strong, broad shoulders. This helps me provide capacity, privacy and understanding to people feeling apprehensive in sharing. Feeling understood is often what’s missing from our lives. The counsellor-client relationship creates a collaborative team where we both work towards meeting your goals. If it turns out I’m not your vibe, I would be happy to help you find a better fit. **What’s the work like?** I strive to be diverse in my application of counselling, we may work on coping if in crisis, tools for problems when surviving, and felt purpose when thriving. I want to meet you where you’re at, we progress within your ability and within your goals. **What’s your life experience like?** I’ve spent most of my adult life learning how to care for five kids and some sort of giant breed dog. Currently a 160lb Cane Corso/Dane named Groot. I love to learn how things and people work. Previously, I’ve worn many hats doing different trade work.
