Professional Bio
As a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling - Provisional (MPCC-P, 5089) under supervision based in Kamloops, BC, I offer low-cost, in-office, online (anywhere in BC) and in-home (within the Kamloops area), affordable individual and group counselling to ensure high-quality mental health support is accessible. I provide an empathetic, non-judgmental space to help you navigate life’s heaviest transitions, quiet your inner critic, and build a meaningful way forward.
My approach is tailored to your unique needs, blending Person-Centered, Compassionate Focused, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating:
Chronic Illness & New Diagnoses and Chronic Pain; Managing the grief, uncertainty, complex emotions, and lifestyle shifts of health conditions;
Weight Management and Body Image Issues; Healing your relationship with your body and food with compassion; Perfectionism; Breaking free from exhausting, unrealistic expectations.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer affordable psychoeducation groups for illness and weight and body image issues. These groups provide a safe community to find mutual understanding and support while you learn alongside peers facing similar hurdles.
