Professional Bio
Patricia Habermann works as a counsellor/mentor with children, youth, adults, and families of all ages as well as
facilitates group work through PLH Counselling Services. Patricia aims to create a welcoming and safe space in
which a trusting therapeutic relationship can be built. Patricia uses a person-centered, strength based, and holistic
approach to her work while exploring the stories of where her clients come from. Patricia's experience in a trauma
informed approach is from her training in Focusing-Oriented Therapy and Trauma Informed Practice which
compliments her specialization in Addiction studies. These approaches have given Patricia the skillset to work with
and understand the impacts of historical and intergenerational trauma. She holds professional membership with
the Canadian Professional Counselling Association.
