Professional Bio
Katarina is available via telephone, Skype, google hangout, or in person if you are in the Vancouver area. Did someone you care about die? Are you experiencing a life defining loss? Are you feeling exhausted? Does your life seem to lack meaning and purpose? Grief is inescapable. Everyone's experience of grief is different and having someone to witness your loss can be transformational. I have my own experiences with loss and have had the honor to hold space for those that found their own hearts cracked open when someone they loved died. Through my losses I have grown and found a new sense of meaning in my life. There is light after the darkness of grief. After graduating from SFU with a degree in Psychology, I spent years working in the corporate world. Throughout my career I have worked with a spectrum of people experiencing anxiety, depression, diagnosed behaviour disorders and grief. Currently, I am a practicing counsellor with a specialization in grief and loss and am a member of the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). I also teach at Rhodes Wellness College in the counselling and coaching department.
