Professional Bio
25 years working with families, youth and adults in various helping roles have guided me to my desired career as a counsellor. My experience includes training in somatic therapy, with the awareness that we hold so much of our memories in our body. Working with the nervous system and understanding how, with awareness, we can become more compassionate to ourselves.
My main focus is helping others who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, parenting and addiction.
I am a mother, teacher, artist, a life long learner, with a passion for helping others.
I work from a holistic perspective taking into account emotional, physical, mental and spiritual aspects of healing. I believe that we can work towards being the best version of ourself at any stage on our journey.
I have spent my life in small moutain towns and now call Victoria, BC home, where I enjoy being close to water and beautiful forests, friends and family.
