Professional Bio
I believe that self-awareness produces an inner ripple effect of endless positive changes. I have a passion for helping individuals and families re-connect with their feelings of safety, belonging, unique identity, balance, confidence, and joy so that they can build long-lasting wellbeing strategies and relationships. I strive at creating an empathetic counselling environment for teamwork so my clients can feel empowered to make the changes they want. My life and work experiences as a woman, parent, grandparent, educator, academic/career advisor, and business operator have taught me invaluable lessons; my favourite being that every big change we want to see in others or in the world starts with changing ourselves first. I provide counselling and psychoeducation sessions to youth, adults, seniors, families, and groups struggling with personal, relational, and or school/work environments. Sessions are available in person and via zoom. Free initial, 15-minute video or phone consultation. Bilingual: English and Spanish.
