Pier Point Counselling

Professional Bio
Christina is the owner and clinical director of Pier Point Counselling in New Westminster, BC, where she works with individuals and couples across Metro Vancouver. She brings more than 16 years of experience in emergency communications and victim services, which gives her a grounded, first-hand understanding of crisis, trauma, and the toll of high-stress work. Her practice centres on couples work, trauma recovery, and affirming support for LGBTQ+ clients and relationships. She draws on the Gottman Method, Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring her work to each person's pace and story. Her sessions are warm, direct, and collaborative, and she creates space for people to be fully themselves. Christina holds an MPCC and is registered with the CPCA. She is trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1) and Motivational Interviewing.
