Professional Bio
My journey in counselling began with nonprofit work counselling with Moving Forward Family Services where I supported clients facing various life challenges. As a PEACE Counsellor (formerly Children Who Witness Violence), I worked in schools throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor, providing one-on-one and group therapy to help children process emotions and develop coping strategies. I've also supported women through the Stopping the Violence Program, assisting them in healing and rebuilding after abusive relationships.
I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychoeducation, tailoring my methods to each client's needs.
As a founding member of Coast Mountain Counselling, my mission is to help individuals achieve personal growth by shifting negative thought patterns and embracing mindset transformation. We believe that with the right support and tools, life’s challenges can become opportunities for positive change and healing.
