Angela May

RPC-Provisional

Calgary Youth Justice Society

Professional Bio
My work focuses on child assessment, early intervention, and the identification of strengths and needs that can guide effective support. I also focus on understanding the societal pathways that contribute to youth involvement in mental health, child welfare, and justice systems, and how assessment can inform more responsive interventions. I am committed to evidence-informed practices that recognize young people as more than a diagnosis, behaviour, or life circumstance, and instead understand them within the broader context of their development, relationships, experiences, and potential. Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Clinical Psychology / (M.Ed.) in Early Childhood Education, Western University (expected August 2026) Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology with Great Distinction, Athabasca University Early Childhood Mental Health & Well-Being Professional Development Award Recipient, Toronto Metropolitan University
